S47/Tillamook

The reason to fly in to Tillamook is for the great Tillamook Air Museum. Taxi right up to big hanger doors and park your plane right there. If you are really cheap you can walk in the huge blimp hanger doors and skip the admission fee. Be sure if you do to stop by and pay up front. Not only do they have a lot of cool planes from very old to very modern they also have a lot of exhibits on the history of the military blimps. Plan on spending several hours to see everything, then have a snack in the Air Base Cafe and check out the gift shop.

The Tillamook Cheese factory is in town but I have never figured out how to get their easily.
