McMinnville is a big beautiful easy to use airport. Just watch for the frequent glider operations East of the field. They are very good on their radio procedure so no worries about sharing final with a glider.

Park at the FBO and walk the 1/2 mile (or call for pickup) over the busy highway and visit the Evergreen Air Museum home to the Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose, an SR-71 Blackbird and a large number of other special aircraft. a must see destination if you like to see vintage aircraft.
