KLMT/Klamath Falls (Kingsley)

When the weather keeps me close then Kingsley is a good alternate. Taxi past the F-14s all lined up by the main terminal. Park at the FBO just north of the terminal and stroll inside for a good hearty breakfast or lunch. If you are really lucky you can share the taxiway with an F-14.

There are no nearby hotels, so this is not the best place to be weathered in. If you need a place to land when things are looking bad I much prefer 2S7/Chiloquin just a few more miles north. The only advantage to KLMT is the ILS if things are not looking VFR.
