4S9 - Mulino

The Port of Portland runs Mulino airport in the same manner that it runs Troutdale. A beautiful
facility with few tenants or services. There used to be an FBO selling gas on the field but
they have been gone for a while. There is the "Airport Cafe", but it is not really on the
airport. It is adjacent to Hwy 213 on the North East edge of the property. You can walk
there over the grass from the transient parking and it is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

One pleasant surprise is the local pilot community. Both the OPA and EAA has club houses on
the field.

A good place for a $100 hamburger, but othewrwise not much of a destination.
